About the Galveston Duck Tour

The Galveston Duck Tour is a unique way to see Galveston Island. It is a land and water sightseeing adventure. Tours start at 25th street and Seawall Blvd. next to Pleasure Pier. Your tour guide and captain will give you a general overview of the many attractions, facts, and history of Galveston. During the tour, your guide will point out various Galveston mansions and century-old buildings.

About halfway through the tour, “the Duck” will enter the water at Offats Bayou, which is located at 61st and Heards Lane. The protected waters of Offats Bayou are ideal for boating and observing wildlife that thrive on and around Galveston Island.

Following the water portion of the tour, the Duck returns back onto the streets and the historic East End of Galveston.  “The Duck” tours are hosted by experienced Coast Guard Captains. They are humorous-yet-informative. The Galveston Duck tour is very enjoyable.
